inspired by the people and places that are intentionally creating their city. the symposium was ideated at Office Coffee and held at Space Unltd - landing places for community, conversation, music, and art.

like mushrooms​ and trees, humans ​l​ive through connection. a web of places, people, and memories roots us and allows us to grow. as our web extends, so does our ​understanding and expression of home. 

 

home​.office​.01 is ​exhibition, event, and ​m​eshwork, gathering together toronto​-connected makers and artists whose work is both grounded in, and proliferates, a close attention to the relationships that make a home. 

 

oriented by the material and the ethereal, our conversations, installations, and offerings will explore home ​a​s a lively convergence​: ​​leather and hand and scent and energy, story and texture and mineral and chance. 

 

exhibition opens july 19th. 12-6 pm. space unltd. 1213 bathurst st. 

 

followed by MATERIAL - a discussion with the home office network on the tactile aspects of home. sounds by brendan philip. food by chef arush singh. wine by dont worry wines. 

 

exhibition closes july 24th. followed by ETHEREAL - closing party + talk. 6-9 pm.
